Case Study:
Implementation of a publication plan in a short time frame
A multinational biotechnology company with expertise in developing biosimilars.
Our client was in the process of preparing to launch a biosimilar across Europe, but had little information published at the time about their product in peer-reviewed journals. Our challenge was to help them to ethically publish data from a number of clinical trials, and to support with the development of several product-related reviews, in conjunction with authors. These publications would help to enhance the education and awareness of clinicians about the product, which at the time was poor.
Together with the authors, the in-house team of writers at Aspire Scientific helped the client to implement their publication plan by developing and publishing more than 20 manuscripts – in respected peer-reviewed journals – all within a 1-year period. The manuscripts were developed in line with ethical guidelines, including Good Publication Practice-3 (GPP3), ICMJE and CONSORT (where applicable). We thereby ensured that the company’s data were published in time to support with educating healthcare professionals during the period of the product launch. Aspire Scientific are continuing to support this client with the development of additional publications for biosimilars across their portfolio.
