Technology Support Engineer


Key roles and responsibilities

Microsoft 365 Support

  • Administer and manage Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Intune, and Entra ID.
  • Assist with configuration changes, updates, and rollout of new Microsoft 365 features.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Microsoft 365-related issues promptly.
  • Implement best practices for data security and compliance within Microsoft 365.

User Support

  • Provide on-site/in-house user support as a secondary point of contact, with the external MSP acting as the primary support channel.
  • Escalate issues to the MSP as required and act as a liaison between employees and the MSP to ensure efficient issue resolution.
  • Assist in developing internal IT processes, documentation, and user guides.
  • Support device setup, onboarding/offboarding, and general hardware/software troubleshooting.

Internal Intranet (SharePoint) Development

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of a new SharePoint-based company intranet.
  • Work across the business to gather requirements and build intuitive pages, structures, and workflows.
  • Maintain and develop intranet content, governance, and user experience.
  • Promote adoption and ensure the intranet becomes a central hub for communication and collaboration.

Hardware & Software Asset Management

  • Maintain accurate hardware, software, and license inventories.
  • Manage device lifecycle processes including procurement, configuration, maintenance, and secure disposal.
  • Support hardware upgrades, refreshes, and software deployments.

Technology Projects & Continuous Improvement

  • Assist with the rollout of new tools, systems, and IT features.
  • Contribute to process improvements and documentation updates.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance workflows, automation, and technology usage across the business.

Operational Responsibilities

  • Undertake any other task, as reasonably required
  • Follow company procedures with respect to administrative and project-related tasks. To include, but not limited to, daily completion of Paprika timesheets, and timely and accurate folder/file housekeeping.
  • Liaise with clients, healthcare professionals, contractors, team members, and any other relevant third parties in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner.
  • During day-to-day work and internal and external interactions, consider and promote adherence to our vision and values.
